Mission Statement: Promote and foster economic development of the United States of America, Republic of India together with the rest of the world for the benefit of all.
IAICC is an umbrella organization with headquarters in Washington DC providing a sustainable platform and leadership forum for the entrepreneurs, professionals, businesses and governments in the United States and India to interact, exchange and promote economic development and improve relationship between U.S., India and the world.
Since inception in 1989 and launched Washington DC in1990, IAICC (went through name changes twice) is serving the Indian American owned and operated businesses. IAICC through its chapters, affiliates and other organizations provides the vital resources and support to educate, train and mentor our membership. It acts as a catalyst to establish strategic alliances between businesses in the United States, India and the rest of the world to strengthen US India relations, business and economic engagement. The IAICC international chapter assists the state chapters through advocacy and connecting the states with national and international leadership.
IAICC works with entrepreneurs, professionals, businesses and governments to develop entrepreneurship and commerce through mentor - protégé programs, training, seminars and networking opportunities. Currently, there are about 600,000 Indian American Owned businesses which can benefit from these IAICC programs. Many of the programs are equally valuable to businesses run by Indian American executives.
In addition to conducting annual conventions, networking opportunities, mentor-protégé meetings, seminars, gala’s, speakers’ platform, hosting and participating in U.S. and Indian trade missions, participating in business and community related activities, here are:
I. Notable accomplishments of IAICC on U.S. India Relations:
IAICC is a strong advocate for small and medium businesses in the United States of America and India. Through its partnerships and advocacy programs, IAICC supports a strong trade relationship and policies in the U.S., India and other countries.
IAICC strongly supported through advocacy “U.S. Trade Pact with Canada and Mexico”. when it was first announced and continues to support the trade.
IAICC strongly supported through advocacy, “U.S. India Nuclear Treaty”.
IAICC strongly supported through advocacy, U.S. India Trade and Commercial agreements
IAICC with AMCHAM’s assistance helped U.S. Small Business Administration to enter into an MoU with the Government of India’s Ministry on Small & Medium Enterprises in 2007.
IAICC supported through advocacy “U.S. India Defense Pact” initiated under President Clinton’s administration, continued its expansion under Bush, Obama and Trump administrations.
IAICC strongly supported through advocacy, “Strategic Trade Authorization (STA1)” between U.S. and India which puts India as an equal to trade between U.S. and NATO countries.
IAICC supported through advocacy “U.S. India Motorcycles for Mangoes” program.
IAICC has supported numerous initiatives by the U.S. and Indian Government agencies.
IAICC through advocacy assisted in the removal of U.S. sanctions against India.
Working together with other national and international organizations, IAICC has made valuable contributions that benefit both U.S. and India and is still pursuing India’s membership of the U.N. Security Council. The IAICC together with local and national Jewish organizations supported Israel and India’s diplomatic relationship.
II. IAICC Initiatives which could Benefit its Membership:
High-Level Access & Networking: IAICC events accompany its array of services throughout the year. IAICC hosts regular events at its HQ in Washington, DC and major cities in U.S., India and other countries.
Advocacy: The IAICC leads strategic efforts to maximize the growth potential of the U.S.-India bilateral economic and trade relationship; which enhances commercial and investment opportunities for U.S. companies in India and provides a platform for Indian businesses seeking enhanced access to the U.S. market.
Business Intelligence: The IAICC provides a myriad of executive information services on India including frequent summaries of the most relevant policy actions in the country and a series of briefings with the relevant officials in the U.S. and Indian governments.

"IAICC Forum for Women In Business and Leadership” which was established in October 2019 will promote women in business and leadership, address issues of concern, and find solutions for a better professional life for our current and future generation.

In December 2019, IAICC chapters Western Regional Chapter, Northern California State Chapter in San Francisco, Massachusetts State Chapter in Boston, New Hampshire State Chapter in Nashua, NH and Arizona State Chapter in Phoenix will be established.
Between January and March 2020, IAICC plans to establish: The Tri- State chapter in Washington, DC/Virginia/Maryland, Southern California, Florida, Nevada, Ohio, Carolinas, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont Chapters and South Western and Mid-Western Regional Chapters In addition to the existing offices in New Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata, IAICC plans to establish offices in Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai, India.
IAICC intends to bring: Business and industry leaders, Leading academics; Community leaders; and experts to advise and help the IAICC management team so that they can work effectively with the Administrative, Legislative and Judicial branches of the local, state and federal governments in the US and India. This will help us to assist in shaping and reforming laws and policies to benefit our membership through our advocacy programs.
IAICC will host a variety of events including seminars and lectures and support the publication of reports by subject matter experts addressing Business, Entrepreneurship, Education, Technology, Energy, Defense, Agriculture, Medicine, Economics, Environment, Geo-Politics and related fields. IAICC is in the process of establishing federal, regional, state and local government connection portals to connect and establish one stop connectivity to help in obtaining contracts for our membership.
